Returns & Refund policy

Please review to the following policy for refunds, returns, cancellations, and pre-orders.

Eligibility for Refunds:

We offer refunds under these conditions:

  • Damaged or Defective Items: If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll either refund you or send a replacement.

  • Incorrect or Missing Items: If we’ve made an error with your order (e.g., wrong item or quantity), notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will rectify the issue by offering a refund or sending the correct items.

Refunds apply to the item cost only. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Returns Policy

Non-Returnable Items:

Certain items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Custom or personalised orders

  • Digital downloads

  • Perishable products (e.g., food, flowers)

  • Items on sale

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging (If you've taken it out, you can put it back in). You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 
Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. Items must be in their original condition. If not, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Please use a trackable service, as buyers are responsible for return postage costs. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact me immediately if the item or packaging is defective, damaged or the wrong item. Provide an image of the issue with an explanation, and I will send you a new product free of charge after evaluating the severity of the problem. 

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
We do not except exchanges.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Pre-Orders:

  • Payment at Time of Order: All pre-orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

  • Estimated Dispatch Dates: Pre-order items will have estimated shipping dates listed on the product page. These dates are approximate and may be subject to change due to production or shipping delays.

  • Combined Orders: If you order both pre-order and in-stock items together, your order will be shipped once all items are available. To receive in-stock items sooner, please place separate orders.

  • Refunds & Cancellations: Pre-orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase unless otherwise stated. After this window, cancellations or refunds will not be accepted unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

Cancellations

We accept cancellations if:

  • The order hasn’t been started, or the print-on-demand item hasn’t entered production.

  • The request is made within 48 hours for pre-orders.

Once an order is in production or shipped, we cannot process cancellations.

International Orders & Duties

  • Customs & Import Duties: Buyers are responsible for any customs, duties, or import taxes applicable in their country. For USA customers, duties and handling fees will now be collected at checkout to avoid surprise charges upon delivery.

  • Delays in Customs: We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing in your country.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be offered in these cases:

  • Change of mind on custom or print-on-demand apparel orders once production has started.

  • Pre-order cancellations made after the 24-hour window.

  • Items returned in damaged or used condition (unless faulty on arrival).

  • Requests made outside the 7-day window after delivery.

  • Incorrect addresses on orders.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund within the stated time:

  1. Check your bank account or contact your credit card provider.

  2. If the refund still hasn’t appeared, contact us at coconutterist@gmail.com for further assistance.
